Substance Abuse issues affect most families in America. Whether it be an alcohol problem or issues using illegal drugs, most people know of someone who is struggling to cope with life without drugs or alcohol. In counseling we will explore what you feel led you to start using drugs as well as relapse triggers. We will discuss reasons you feel that you started using in more depth and discuss healthy ways of coping with the past as well as feelings of guilt and shame due to decisions made while under the influence. We will develop a relapse prevention plan and develop a healthy self care plan. We will also discuss how spirituality can play a role in helping you to stop your use of drugs and alcohol.
