Living Water Counseling Ministry

Mental Health and Christian Counseling Services

" ...If you knew the Gift of would have asked of Him, and He would have given you Living Water." (John 4:10 KJV)

My office is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

• Counselor has committed to taking the Covid-19 vaccine Moderna (First Dose: 1/19/2021, Second Dose: 2/16/2021)

• Counselor and all in-person clients are being asked to wear masks (Unless they have been vaccinated in accordance with current CDC guidelines)

• Counselor is taking pre-cautions such as checking counselor’s temperature at the beginning of day to prevent infection. Client’s temperatures are being checked at the beginning of each counseling session to prevent those with an infection from attending counseling sessions in-person.

• I will maintain safe distancing.

• Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.

• Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy room and immediately upon entering the building.

• I schedule appointments at specific intervals to prevent clients from coming into direct contact with each other.

• We ask all clients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment times.

• Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.

• Physical contact is not permitted.

• Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.

• Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the beginning of the day, after each in person client, and at the end of each day.

• A plexiglass guard has been placed on counselor’s desk as an extra pre-caution to prevent infection and safe guard clients.

• Office chairs have been placed at a minimum of 6 feet apartment from counselor and client.

• Clients have been asked not to bring any guests with them to their counseling sessions and that guests must wait in the vehicle during the counseling session.

• Clients who have traveled out of state for an extended period of time are being asked to complete their sessions by telehealth options for 14 days following their return home.

• Clients who are sick are being asked to complete their counseling sessions by telehealth options until they are symptom free (or completed their quarantine).

• Many clients are choosing to continue with Telehealth options which is limiting potential exposure.
